This skill set provides the necessary skills and knowledge for those who deliver training in volunteer organisation settings. These units provide credit towards TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and other qualifications that allow for selection of these units. This skill set is for volunteers who deliver training to other volunteers in the workplace and those working in non-accredited delivery. This training is designed to support the essential skills of volunteer trainers, such as in emergency service organisations. The role may involve some coaching at individual or small group level.

Online sessions will be recorded. What is a Virtual Classroom? A virtual classroom is when students learn with a lecturer and other students via web conferencing technology as part of a virtual classroom. Lecturers lead a virtual classroom that is accessed by students in different locations at the same time. TAFE SA currently use Collaborate. You will need access to a computer and the internet for this course or you can use the facilities at your local TAFE SA campus. You do not need to install any software and you can access the classroom from any computer that has an internet connection, or a mobile telephone. You will be provided with the link to the classroom from your lecturer prior to the start date.
